The Willet fossil human footprint was discovered in the 1950’s by O.W. Willet. He removed the print from a limestone ledge along the banks of the Paluxy river at a location along the river where the current Dinosaur Valley State Park is located.
Mr. Willet’s family was in possession of the print for 60 years and sold the print to the Creation Evidence Museum in 2010. The Willet print is probably the most clear of all fossil human footprints that have been found.
